Intel 910 PCIe Card with Ubutntu Server 11.04.2 LTS Kernel Version 3.5

Has anybody tried the new Intel 910 with Ubuntu Server.

we are planning a new Server and our favorite Server OS is Ubuntu Server.

So anyone already tried another distribution than RHEL or SLES or maybe newer kernel Versions than the suggested 2.6.32? Ubuntu 11.04.2 is already on Kernel 3.5.
