ubuntu 14.04 can't detect Intel SSD DC S4500 Series (3.8TB, 2.5in SATA 6Gb/s, 3D1, TLC)

I bought S4500 disk with 3.8Tcapacity from Amazon.com: Intel DC S4500 3.80 TB 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive - SATA: Electronics

But ubuntu 14.04.5 can't detect it while ubuntu 16.04.3 could. Since I won't upgrade system, is there any easy way to recognize it ?

Here is kernel version:

$ uname -r

4.4.0-58-generic

Moreover, I tried to install linux-image-4.4.0-98-generic, but still failed to detect.
