I have been using SQLIO and IOMeter (Dynamo) to test P3700 cards, but all of them report latency in millisecond which is no good to baseline performance of P3700.
I do want to track latency in microsecond, is there any alternate Synthatic bench marking tool which can reports latency in microsecond accepting variety of IO parameters like Read/Write/Random/Sequential/Number of Threads/Outstanding IOPS/Different Block size etc?

I have installed an intel ssd 320 series 160gb on a Lenovo t420 win 7 sp1 with the most current 4PC1036 firmware. it works fine. BUT I have also installed intel's ssd toolbox. now the application does what it is supposed to HOWEVER every time I start it I get 3 WMI Event id 24 errors in win 7 event viewer with the following details:

Having issues pulling up docs and specs on the Series 320 on intel site- docs not found,
The topic is two years old- hoped maybe something has happened since the original topic posted
because the ISN shows a valid warranty until July 2016.
I purchased the drive on eBay April 10th, got it yesterday after the seller sent me the wrong drive first.
The Model number is: ssdsa2cw512g3
The serial number is: CVPR12950FD512NGN
I became suspicious when I noticed there was no intel logo/decal or silk screen marking on the top of the brushed aluminum case.
The bottom of the drive has a label, with a few asian characters written in pen, along with the FW version, but otherwise no marking.
The drive was advertised as used, but the SMART power-on hours count showed 0 by now it's up to 8,
I understand the power-on hours count is supposed to be cumulative over the life of the drive- barring reset with specialized utility.
The power-on hours don't reconcile well with 346 power cycle counts, and 36 unsafe shutdown counts
and the timed-work-load timer showed 155254819 on initial power-up.
Before the 512Gb arrived, the seller sent me the wrong drive, I didn't read the label before popped the tape and found a new sealed in zero stat bag.
A series 1500 240G- I didn't open the zero stat bag. The first series 1500 came in a small brown box with a white label.
Wondering the next step if the drive is counterfeit, do I return to seller or report to ebay?
If I return to seller it may hit the street again.
Should I hang on the the 1500 so it can be inspected to see if it's legit?
Thoughts?
I've been looking around for the best possible solution that is a reasonable price nvme is way too expensive would the hyper x preditor be a fast solution ?

I have Intel NUCs D54250WYK, one of them have problem with the SSD
It was detected at first, but after an hour it BSOD. Reboot it wasn't detected
Later that day it can boot to Windows 8.1, not long after that freeze up and not detected again all day long
At first I was guessing that it was overheating, so when it detected days later I changed the speed fan to 80%
Boot to windows and monitor the temperature it was hovering around 40-42 C, after about 15 minutes frezee again and no longer detected all day long
My last attempt was moved the SSD to different NUC, still same and NUC working so definitely not NUC problem.
So I'm guessing now it's a faulty SSD, can I get RMA, repair or anything (I live in Indonesia)?

As the title says, my Intel DC P3600 reports 0 valid namespaces, and health status *ASSERT_FFFF0194 SL.
Registers are readable/writable, and identify controller succeeds (from which num ns and health status is read).
All other commands fails with Generic Error: Internal Device Error (SCT: 0, SC: 6).
As per the specification, an async event is posted on internal errors, and is fetched with an async event request. The async event request also fails with internal device error.
Is there any way of fixing this?
I have an intel 330 series SSD (intel ssdsc2ct180a3), and recently while optimizing it, it filled up my whole drive with 3gb TRIM files. The files went away however after optimzing it again.
But I wasn't sure what to make of this, so after researching TRIM a bit I read that modern operating systems may not need to use this feature because they do this already, and doing it excessively may wear down the drive. Is that true? Being on windows 8.1, do I need to regularly use the optimize function?
I just received my new Intel SSD 750 today, and am enjoying it thoroughly! Very fast, indeed!
However, when I use the Intel Solid-State Drive Toolbox, not all features appear to be here -- mainly the Intel SSD Optimizer. It's greyed out.

I purchased this item. "Intel Fultondale 3 DC P3600 2.5" PCI-Express 3.0 MLC" I thought I was getting a PCIE 3.0 ready to plug into my PCIE slot on the motherboard.
What I got was just the SSD itself and no way to plug it into the motherboard rather the PCIE slot.

I have a client that has Intel 320 series drives @ 300gb that they are replacing. The drives are in good working condition, but he wants a guarantee that all data will be erased prior to re-marketing them. Based on this forum and other research it seems that I can not find a consensus on whether the Secure Erase in the Toolbox is 100% effective for this task. In the past we have also used devices such as Aleratec duplicators/wipers and a Wiebetech device to do D.O.D. sanitizing on magnetic drives, but from what I understand this may not be optimal for SSD's. The client does not want to toss out good, valuable drives by crushing them, and would like a high level of certainty that data is protected prior to selling. What is the thought on this forum? What is Intel's position on this? Thanks for any help/insight!
That is C drive and trying to up grade my windows 7 to windows 8.1 and the download gets so for and reverts back to windwos 7. I think this has to do with my intel ssd being my c drive. Do I need wipe mu ssd clean if you think this is the problem how do you reformat or wipe an intel ssd drive clean?

I had this NVMe drive working as a secondary drive under Windows 8.1. I tried to shuffle my PCIe slots (ASUS Z97-a) but with the drive in the new PCIe Gen3 slot the system did a series of quick power resets and failed to boot. Back in the old slot I now get the message: 'IntelNVMeDriverFreezeLock: NVMe Device Not Detectable'. The drive has disappeared from the OS. What does this mean? Is there a way to recover the SSD? I am not worried about the data.
Intel Rma department in Louisville, Kentucky received my defective ssd ( 330 240gb= last only 1 year) on April 20th. 3 days have past with no update on when I will be recieving a replacement and no tracking number. They claim it takes 3 days after receiving the product to ship it out with an email update on tracking. 2 more days have past and I've been trying to access the links given from the live support agent when I started the RMA and the links don't work. It redirects me to a page that has been moved and click on the following its a dead page.

I have 3 intel SSD DC S3700 Series 200GB drives on my LSI 9271-4i Raid controller. 2 of them are configured as a mirrored Cashcade drive, while the 3rd drive serves as Hot Spare.
I've been testing on VMWare ESXi 5.5 and 2012r2 hyper-V with latest Raid controller firmware and drivers.
The isue:
- i keep getting the error : 'Power on, reset, or bus device reset occured' on all SSD drives in any slot on the enclosure.
- in the end the drive is marked as 'bad' and the hot spare kicks in. But, after a few hours/days this drive also gets marked as defective.
I contacted LSI, and they tell me to replace the drives.
I've connected the drives to a desktop PC and ran the intel software for some testing. No error could be found.
I've checked the LSI hardware Compatibility list, and the drives are supported for cashcade.
Has anyone else experienced this isue?

I am in need to make a Hardware RAID 5/10 for the Intel SSD NVMe DC P3700 series. I tried to go through as much document I could find but did not come across any solution.
Please note I do not want to forgo the feature offered by NVMe and use a Standard SSD for the RAID.

That’s only 2 months old and in my old laptop. I have a new powerful laptop on the way. My question is, what is the process of taking it out of my old laptop and placing in my new one and get it up and running?
Would I go to make my hard drive boot up? I have a 3 month old Intel 480 ssd I would like to place in a new laptop. I have cloned my ssd to a Seagate 640g hard drive and I can’t get it boot up. I do this because I would like to place the Seagate back in my old. Your help will be appreciated.
